App starts but cmd-N doesnt open a new "File" for setting up a countdown. Therefore its totally useless. And the German localization failed, too. Unfortunately, I have to give one star though no star would be appropriate! Die App lässt sich zwar starten, aber mit cmd-N kann man keinen neuen Countdown einrichten. Damit ist das Programm völlig unbrauchbar. Leider muss ich mindestens einen Stern vergeben, angemessen wäre aber gar kein Stern!

Хорошая задумка,но увы перевод на русский кривой напрочь и приложение не хочет создавать собственно эти будильники. Стоит Mountain Lion. Сыро! Nice idea,but russian language is bad,and app doesnt work!When i push cmd+N nothing happens.My system is Mountain Lion,waiting for new version,or ill write to support to bring my money back..

Looks great at first but days dont change. If reminder is for 20 days from today it will always say 20 days left. UPDATE !!!!

I have so many little events going on in my life right now, this app simply makes me aware of upcoming issues and events. Love the simplicity

I have my countdown set for December. Ive had the app for a week and the amount of days hasnt changed. HUH!!??

Nice design, but app does not work. Will not countdown days. Stays on the same number indefinitely.

This program is well developed. I use it in Macbook air with OS X 10.8.1. And it serves me well no issues yet.

Simple and nice. Couple small glitches. I like to customize my time settings for the longest date as...(2012/September/30/Sunday//DOY:274). This app uses the longest version of the date/time settings it makes it tricky to set the time. Other small thing. I set the settings to not always be "on top" but its still on top. It might reset when I close and re-open. The settings now just show 7 days left until my event. (It would be cooler if it was counting down as the name of the app implies?) Then again it might be distracting? Anyways way worth the small price.

Stays on top when it isnt supposed to. Days do not change. Glitches out sometimes. PLEASE UPDATE!

Great little app!!! I like the look and design so far. But lets not stop there Here is my list of possible improvments/additions App is 10Mb. Can this be trimmed down some how. on small SSDs things do add up. There seems to be no upgrade option from Appe for Retina. As Zonies already mentioned time editing is little frustrating. It would be great to have a drop down control to edit Date and Time. Please add list of active alarms to menu and their time left (with possible dual color what is active and what expired. Perhaps Expired should be auto removed) Also it would be good to add a little note to it as option (beside the Title of event) Also I would love to see some option to allow fire some apple script for some events. So if I cant by my machine for some reason well some jobs can be done with apple script or any other external script/program Also if possible make option to make remindes vertical vs horizontal :)

Seems to do the trick, but careless typos make it look rushed. "Preferance" and "Alaways on Top" are two examples. Also, sometimes they capitalize each word in a menu; sometimes they dont. When you pick an alarm sound, they are each named in an inconsistent way. As I said, it looks like it will work, but these minor oversights dont instill confidence.

The app is pretty good. The only things that I dont like are that the "Always on top" setting doesnt work. There are also a couple of typos. But it looks cool and I like it a lot.

For all intensive purposes it works, but not very well. They days dont change on their own, I have to click on the application settings (to make it flip) and then the flip button again. However, when I do this, the circle (which is supposed to be going down with each day) restarts back at the top, which I do not like. I paid $2 for this app like everyone else, and Im annoyed it doesnt work the way its supposed to. Please fix these issues.

Decent software but not what I expected, days left not changing until I click. wasted of money.

- Counter doesn’t change by itself, program needs to be closed then re-opened each day - Doesn’t remember location of the window box - Clicking the window X, which is “assumed” to mean Close, actually Deletes that counter instantly

The app has several bugs on Mavericks (and maybe other OS X’s). Most importantly, it cannot calculate the time to a deadline accurately! That’s what we call a showstopper. Secondly, there is a UI glitch where the timer shows a blue box whenever it’s the active window. It gets in the way of seeing what the timer says. There are many smaller bugs. If the developer fixed all of the issues, it would be a good app.

PROs: - Clean and simple design - Color coding (themes) - Dual text and graphic (circle progress bar) countdown - Floats on desktop CONs: - Can’t change the time, which is based on the creation date (needs a customizable clock to set the event time) - Can’t change the size of the reminder (needs a collapsible size option for smaller screens) - Can’t change the typeface - Some of the color themes are too dark (or don’t have enough contrast), making the type hard to read
